How do I get rid of the overly long tail inbetween my knitting needles when I cast on?
Filed Under Hobbies & Crafts | Comments Off
Pretty self-explainitory. When I cast on and start knitting that row, I get this long tail between the needles that gets bigger and bigger, and it gets so long on hats and stuff that it gets all knotted up.
I figured maybe if I tried casting on differently, it wouldn’t be so bad? Suggestions? I just do a basic sling-shot cast on.

What are some good websites that teach you different stitches in knitting?
Filed Under Hobbies & Crafts | Comments Off
I’m a beginner in knitting, and I would like to learn how to do different styles of stitch besides the stockinette stitch and the knit stitch while making a scarf. A website that tells you how to do it would be greatly appreciated, especially if that site offers training videos! Best answer gets 10 points! =)

How do I get rid of tension in knitting?
Filed Under Hobbies & Crafts | Comments Off
I just started knitting and I’m on my first project (a scarf). I’ve noticed that the past few rows have a lot of tension in them and it is getting harder to knit rows because the stitches are too tight. What can I do to fix it? Or should I just start over?
